I’ve all but wrestled the trowel away from Alice this week. She’s the undisputed garden expert around here, having written three vital books and many illustrious newspaper and magazine columns on the topic. But, since we spoke to Fiona Williams for this week’s podcast, I’ve felt deeply enriched, like a lovingly tended compost heap. And I’ve been thinking more about green shoots.
