Thanks for another inspiring and soothing interview. Not sure how your guests simultaneously inspire and soothe?? Must be something about your questions and the general vibe of the podcast. Whatever it is, I love it.
The conversation was as cozy to listen to as it sounds like it was to record. These episodes are deeply nourishing. And expertly edited. Ending each time with something I can hold onto, like “writing and reading is a way for me to come back to myself”. Oof. Gorgeous.
A wonderful conversation. So struck by Thomas speaking about discovering his interior life in his early 30s and the way that transformed his writing. Maybe these days I take my inner life for granted, but this gave me a renewed appreciation for tending it and a nudge to move further into the room.
Chimed with so much of Thomas's words on rediscovering why we write. A bit of industry-related amnesia wouldn't go amiss, but failing that, how to recapture that sense of possiblity when deadlines loom and the 'business' of writing is no longer something you don't have to know about... Hmm! Thanks for another brilliant episode, both!

What a gorgeous vouch, thank you! Thomas was astonishingly soothing, tbh.
